Volunteering at this school in Tanzania has been a wonderful experience. I’ve always wanted to be a teacher, and spending time with the students here has made that dream even stronger. The children are kind, creative, and full of energy. I’ve made great friends—Sara and Ruth—and I’ve learned so much, even more than I expected. I especially enjoyed our craft activities and playing together on sports day. This school is one of the best I’ve seen, and I will always remember my time here. I hope to return one day as a teacher.

This was my second visit to Maji Ya Chai. Since my last visit, the school has grown significantly in both size and strength. Many former students are now making a positive impact in their communities. The management and teachers remain consistently kind, welcoming and supportive. The students receive not only a quality education but also learn vital values such as respect, kindness, and responsibility. I feel really grateful for this experience and can’t wait to come back and see how the school keeps growing, inspiring others along the way each day.
