My journey in school life

Written by Hashim Rashid

Once upon a time, a small pair of shoes of a little boy named Hashim Rashid took a step into the world of learning. That began at the magical place called Amec Nursery in 2015. I enjoyed learning, drawing, making crafts, and playing.
In 2018, I took a big level step to the mighty and blessed place Cherith Junior School, where I discovered talents like news presenting and football playing. In Cherith Junior School, I grew smarter, stronger, and taller (at least I like to think so).

In 2021, when I was in Class 3, my dad lost his job because of COVID-19, and things became very hard for our family. But my parents, Mr. Rashid and Mrs. Fatna, stood by me and gave me the strength to keep going – all by the grace of God. They are the heart of my little success.

Cherith Junior School became my second home. The founders and directors of Cherith Junior School, Mr. Fredrick and Mrs. Dorothy Mbise, believed in me, and I felt that. They threw me into a spring of success.
Thanks to the support and help of my Cherith Junior School amazing teachers, I worked hard and became one of the top students.
In 2024, I proudly completed my primary education 🥳 at Cherith Junior School – but I was very sad to leave Cherith Junior School 🥺. During the graduation ceremony, I produced and presented CJS News.

Special thanks to all my Cherith Junior School teachers and Mr. Fredrick and Mrs. Dorothy Mbise, and anyone out there who can support my future journey.

With your help, I believe I can go even further.

My story had a lot of challenges, but it’s full of hope.
The best is yet to come.
